NS 7230, an EMD SD70ACu rebuilt from an EMD SD90MAC in October 2017, leads CN L52821 09 as it passes MP 3 of the Montreal Subdivision on the south track.
A late convert. Norfolk Southern (along with CN) was a late convert to AC power. Whereas most Class I's were buying AC power starting during the mid-1990's, NS only bought their first AC un... (more)
CN 327 has repainted AC4400CW CSXT 145 & Dash8-40CW CSXT 7849 for power as it rounds the Valleyfield Sub wye at Coteau before setting and lifting cars and then heading south.
Rebuild leading. Released from the Juniata shops just two months ago (after being rebuilt into an AC44C6M from C40-9 NS 8886), NS 4076 is the leader on a 48-car CN 529. Trailing is NS 9180 ... (more)

Lucky timing. I couldn't have gotten any luckier with my timing here, as CN 543 at left (with CSXT 3224 & CSX 468 for power) is backing up at Turcot West, just as CN 323 passes at right, wi... (more)
