Back in 1990 the scenic Chabowka to Nowy Sacz line still had steam action. Here an unidentified 2-10-0 heads a passenger train near Kasina Wielka.

Several interesting items are preserved at the train station in Windhoek, Namibia. 32-001 is a 1959 built GE.

This photo was taken in 2016. It shows the recently rebuilt line from Aus to Lüderitz, which was swamped by the ever moving sand dunes. So, I was amazed to see a youtube clip of a train arriving ... (more)

I labelled this photo as "westbound, near De Beque, Colorado". That`s all I know! Research on Railpics seems to say that loco 8385 is an SD40T-2. Seen in 1994.

On a beautiful day in February 1996, RFD class 47, No 47303 passes The Hawthorns station, near Birmingham, with 6G22, Round Oak steel works to Washwood Heath.

This is the very quaint departures board at Bandarwela station. Very different to the digital screens we usually see, these days.

Tight fit! These locos fit very snugly into the old roundhouse at Barreiro, in 1999. Here are 4 class 1900s, a Nohab DMU and an English Electric class 1800.
