Remarks & Notes
The last active C40-8 on CN's roster heads east onto the single track at Park Gate heading towards a ballast train at Medicine Lodge. This crew and their rare engine will be dumping ballast on the new section of double track between Galloway and Hargwen all week. For whatever reason, this engine has survived the deadlines for at least 2 years operating work trains between Edmonton and Blue River, as well as serving as Jasper's yard engine.
