| Remarks & Notes |
| Winter came early on the Caramat Subdivision this past week with some fresh powder, nearly a foot of it overnight! That reinforced arctic air moved in right behind and temperatures plummeted to -20C. Conditions are improving to just above freezing giving a taste of whats to come over the next few months. CN is ready for the battle with plenty of rebuilt DC to AC locomotives ready to take on winter. Here is CN 3425, rebuilt into a AC44C6M from C44-9W 2640 with just shy of 11000ft of stacks from Vancouver, BC to Brampton Intermodal Terminal outside of Toronto, ON easing down the main at Tondern with fresh snow and wall to wall blue sky. |
