| CP 8105 leads train 114 east near the CPKC Shepard Intermodal yard in Calgary. In the distance you can see the Rocky Mountains, which are approximately 60 miles away. This train shed one of its locomotives back at Ogden. Once out of the mountains, eastbound trains will often do this. Less power is needed on the prairies. |
