Santa Fe M-190 Mail Express Motor car built in 1932, had a 900 hp gasoline-electric power plant it was replaced with a diesel-electric engine in December 1949. The M-190 was assigned to pull nos. 25-26 between Clovis and Carlsbad, 183.7 miles. Photo by Ken Crist, from my collection.
