| The Belton Train rolls into downtown Belton with 22 cars for Anderson, passing milepost 0 of the Blue Ridge Railroad. The Blue Ridge began with the goal of building from here northwestward through the mountains but didn't make it past Stumphouse Tunnel west of Walhalla, SC. Southern acquired the line and most of it is still in service. |
