| 2-6-0 lightoil fired steamlocomotive G 3/4 # 11 "Heidi" of the RhB is leaving the 232 meter long Brombänz II tunnel and crossing the Brombänz viaduct over the Landwasser creek with a main span of 30 meters. The line through the Zügen gorge from Filisur to Davos Platz was opened in 1909 and is electrified since 1919 with 11000 V 16,7 Hz AC. The locomotive is pulling a special for the patrons of the Bahnmuseum Albula from Bergün via Filisur to Davos Glaris and back from Davos Platz to Bergün. In the freight car L # 6603 is an additional water tank which is only used when the water supply is not otherwise possible. The train consist was the yellow Bernina line cars C # 114 "La Bucunada", BC # 110 "Il Mesolcines" and an open observation car. |
