| Quick trip in and out of town. After covering the CSX Mohawk Division in record time, Union Pacific Railroad 1943 (Veterans Tribute, SD70AH) shoved CSX P900-22 (to become P901-22) around the wye at SK and on to the Alfred H. Smith Memorial Bridge Castelton Bridge on Saturday, September 22, 2018. This span has not seen regular passenger service since Amtrak's restoration of the Post Road Branch to serve the Lake Shore Limited in 1979. The train would then proceed through Selkirk Yard to pick additional crew before returning west. |
