| The setting sun is not exactly glinting off the dusty flanks of the 4809 as she and the 4855 head up an eastbound intermodal on the old PRR main. That's my dad's 1969 VW Beetle parked along old Harrisburg Avenue, for a sense of scale. The 4855 actually rolled out of the erecting shop one month earlier than the lower-numbered 4809; June 1935 vs. July 1935. |
