Remarks & Notes
The first portion of the loaded Polaris/MRL iron ore train, 1030, is worked hard upgrade by L3108 & LZ3117 through Thornlie in suburban Perth. This 64 wagon length train was originally 116 wagons long for most of the journey from Mt Walton and was pulled by more modern 4000hp units before the train was split at Forrestfield and a locomotive changeout took place.
