| Its rare to see a 3 unit lashup of widecabs on the Kingsport Sub but on this particular day I saw 2 northbounds back to back with 3 unit lashups. One of which included an SD40-2. Thats more rare itself. Waiting for optimal lighting here took a while but I wasn't going anywhere. Getting a picture I was happy with here has taken a while but I finally got one I can be happy with. Its not completely lit up by the sun but thats what makes this pic a bit different. Combining the shadows and reflections with the nice late afternoon sunlight made this picture a winner for me. Along with the lighting I was very pleased with the rich blues and greens. The puffy white clouds added a nice touch as well. |
