An early Christmas Gift - Amtrak 40th Anniversary heritage unit no.822 leads VIA 97 (Amtrak 64) out of Union on a snowy Christmas Eve day morning.
VIA 641 whips through Newtonville with barely any time for me to set up this shot.
CP #420 glides southbound down the Mactier Subdivision with 5969-6041-5763-6012-3097-8200. Quite the treat. The right-of-way is barren due to the Metrolinx Airport Rail Link project.
