One of the two remaining CNW-painted units on Union Pacific leads an eastbound Global transfer job through some of the last standing CNW-style signals left on the ex-Chicago Northwestern mainline.
Built in 1968 for the Penn Central as their 3243, MARC #72 started life as an EMD GP40. After it's stint with Conrail, the unit was transformed into it's current form, and designated a GP39H-2.

One of NJ Transit's 33 PL42ACs is in charge of westbound train #75. The train has just exited Otisville Tunnel, as is working to get back up to the 70mph track speed.
