After attending the annual Christmas parade and tree-lighting party in Plains, Heart of Georgia Railroad GP38-2 2125 leads the SAM Shortline excursion train east out of town.

Having just come off the trestle over Lake Blackshear, the SAM Shortline Excursion to Plains for the lighting of the downtown heads through some fall foliage.
