CP 1219 is returning from serving the refinery in Barreiro. Getting ther was only possibe over the terrain of the sheds of Barreiro. The plant was closed several years ago.
The 0-4-0 industrial shunter at Washford during the steam gala. The 1219 dates back to 1910 and is a fireless steam locomotive requiring a "steam charge" to run.
Hatvan roundhouse's new switcher is making it's way with a log train to Hatvan. Freight trains are not so frequent on the Aszód - Balassagyarmat line. The last freight from Acsa was a year ago.
The smoke from Y6a 2167 lingers as grimy class A 1219 steams through the station with a westbound freight near the end of the locomotive's run.
A & W sits at the office in Sanford NC.
This EMD SW1200 sits in the yard at the Atlantic & Western office. I have never seen it move.
