A rebuilt GP9 spends a quiet afternoon at a grain transfer facility.

The Grand Trunk Western, owned by CN and one of a few GP9Rs that still carries the GTW paint job, is pulling the CN L537 train job long hood forward on their way back into the Green Bay yard.

Shortly after midnight, Carolina Coastal GP9R's 4609 and 4624 lead the road train east into the CLNA yard in Wilson, NC, operating on former (original) Norfolk Southern Railway trackage.

The star for many SP-Fan: EMD Hi nose engines, which could be seen sometimes in front of heavy SP freight trains through the Tehachapi mountains.
