14CRB combines with GEA 4023 to take a mixed train up the easy side of the Montagu Pass. The train was too late for a golden glint, but careful exposure captured this rather nice silver glow.

A rare 14CRB class 4-8-2 passes the Red Wall at Rooikrans in late afternoon light. Light only strikes the wall in January, so today it's black!
