After loading pellets at the Minorca mine, CN 2025 south takes the siding at the yard at Virginia, MN to wait for assistance to get the engineer's windshield wiper back in operating condition.

After holding for a northbound empty pellet train to clear ahead of them, CN 2015 is now back underway with pellets from Minntac headed back to Two Harbors, MN and the dock.

The snow has started to fall as CN 2025 continues it's march north to load pellets at the Minorca mine. A wave from the conductor is always nice to see.

One of the last T-bird runs of 2017 bring with it bitter cold temperatures. The overnight night low was a cool -27 F but the daylight sun brought the air temp up a bit to -15 for this shot.
