A three unit helper set shoves a 58 car unit grain train from Green Spring, WV to Pilgrams Pride in Moorefield, WV.

This one was resting as the train was handled by an MRS-1.

After a heavy rainstorm, SBVR's latest and greatest power blasts through a tight section of the line's north end nearing its destination of the CSX interchange at Greenspring.

Overpowered? Maybe, but just the right train length for this shot rolling north through the South Branch Valley.

Under big blue skies, an old Geep of N&W heritage waits near the feed mill south of Moorefield to couple onto the end of a SBVR northbound and push to Green Spring.

The West Virginia Rails festival offered the opportunity to get a cab-view peek of the engineer's seat of SBVR 181 with other SBVR units parked alongside.
