A rare look inside the EJE roundhouse in Gary finds two retired locomotives awaiting disposition. This roundhouse is slated for demolishing, it is unsure as of now when it will be torn down.

As once was the standard of the late 80's and early 90's, 2 Conrail painted locomotives head eastbound on the NS Chicago Line with NS 5419 on the point and NS 6794 trailing

Heading in to Chicago ... only a few miles to go.

EJE 804, 322 sit stored in the Roundhouse in the J's Kirk yard, these two and three others were the only ones inside the extremely empty building. This roundhouse still has 40 stalls but only 21-4... (more)
