The hot CP 198 cruises east under an overpass. Those in attendance on that bridge are Bryant Kaden and Mike Vandenberg.

Even though Detroit Lakes is a station stop, the diesel engines have barely enough time to wind down. Almost as fast as they arrived, they're seen here leaving town, along US highway 10.

After a brief stop a mile back to check a "hot axle", the CP 8839 is underway once again.

The Builder flies eastward just under an hour late, and just under the Highway 10 overpass.
