The afternoon 293 slows to take the siding at Hoffman.

Two RRVW geeps head back to Breckenridge, Mn with a short cut of hoppers and tanks.

Another stellar lashup heads a westbound at Hoffman. Unfortunately, they are held in the siding until an eastbound clears, which is still 50 miles away in North Dakota.

Not as interesting as the SD60M's i shot at this location earlier this year, but the warm evening light was too inviting to pass up.

Right behind Amtrak is a priority Z train.

Behind the CP 8839 are: CP 6028, CP 8852, and a SOO LINE MP15 1555. This train is over 6,900 feet long, but most of that will be set out at Hoffman and Hankinson.

Surprisingly, there were more NS SD70's than there were BNSF dash-9's here at the roundhouse.
