The old Santa Fe street running trackage in downtown Fresno was being removed as Amtrak 335 passes Fresno's new city hall. The track remains but is no longer part of the street.

On the way back to Alamosa after a trip to Monte Vista, #1744 crosses a small trestle. The SL&RG ran a series of trips from Alamosa To Monte Vista as part of the rodeo being held last weekend.

One of the very few shots I have of an F40C, taken in June of 1981. I think it is pushing into Union Station, but I am not sure. It just is what I think they refer to as "Milwaukee Service".
