CP 6068 leads the charge out of the West portal of the Tunnel City tunnel.

These SD40-2s are not having any trouble making track speed with this loaded rock train.

As the engineer grabs another notch, CP 6068 lets out a belch of exhaust.

After taking the hole for light power, CP 6068 and company notch up as they head West out of Kilbourn. If you look closely, you can see the last car of the train hooking around the conrer.

The 3 pack of 40s is about to duck under Interstate 90 and take the hole at Kilbourn to meet a set of light engines.

CP 6068 and two more SD40-2s lead a loaded Herzog train under Maiden Lane. I was ecstatic to shoot this trio on a main line train in 2020!

T006 rolls over Collins Road, East of Stoughton, on their way to Janesville. At one point, there were 4 HLCX SD40-2s being utilized by Wisconsin & Southern. HLCX 6334 is the only one that remains.

L355 rolls across Fourth Avenue as they enter the Badger State Ethanol yard.

WAMX 3947 and 3928 ease through downtown Monroe. In about a mile, they'll reach Badger State Ethanol, where they will do their work, and then turn back towards Janesville.

L355 is seen here rolling through Brodhead at 25 MPH. There are 10 crossings in this small town, so I think it's safe to say that this train disturbed the quiet Sunday morning for a few minutes.

L355 rolls down Hanover Hill on the way to Monroe.

Both of the GP39-2s on Wisconsin & Southern's roster are in charge of the Monroe Turn today. Momentarily the train will pass Monroe Sub milepost 13.3, where it will enter track warrant territory.

CN 2180 leads an empty ethanol train West through rural Northwestern Illinois.

A trio of former Southern Pacific tunnel motors lead a KYLE train across the desolate Kansas landscape.
