Two dpu's push an empty coal train east for another load
Again I am not au fait with US locomotive types so I guess that I have got it wrong. Thanks in advance for any one telling me.
Loaded coal for Centralia, WA rolls westbound out of the Gorge.
Early in the journey to Bend, OR, running along side the Columbia.
A westbound BNSF freight approaches downtown Stevenson, running on slow orders due to the high temperatures in the Columbia River Gorge that day.
The same train I photographed at Chamberlain Lake and Cooks finally passes through Stevenson, after a delay when an open hatch on a tank car was spotted from a passing train.
A westbound leaves Stevenson, with an interesting consist of a Dash 8-40BW, an NREX SD40T-2, and a BN green SD40-2.
