Built in 1946, MNCR locos 413 and 412 were probably older than many of the exhibits in the adjacent Danbury Railway Museum. Amazingly 413 seems to have ended up at this museum!
Outside the servicing facility near the base station on the Mount Washington Cog railway. Can anyone identify this loco.
Back in 1981, 45132 passes Lea Marston, east of Birmingham, with the 0700 Newcastle to Bristol.
Mount Washington Cog loco No 10 Kroflite leaves from the base station. No 10 seems to be much newer than the rest of the steam fleet, dating from 1972 according to Wikipedia.
Back in 1999, Conway Scenic Railroad 6516 and 6505 cross the Frankenstein Trestle, near Crawford notch, with a Fall excursion.

Narrow gauge railcar No 5090 004 has been loaded on to a standard gauge wagon at Gmund in 1998. Presumably for a trip to the shops for overhaul.
Vertical boilered "Coffee Pot" built in 1871 is running demonstration freight trains at the excellent Beamish museum in the north of England.

Box cab No 6723, built by English Electric in 1926 is in the servicing facility at Montreal Central in 1992. GE steeple cab no 6727 is also present.
