Led by NCDOT locomotive number 1859, the "City of High Point," Amtrak train 75 cruises under the signals at Elm on its way south through Greensboro, NC on October 11, 2014.

"Platform clear, permission to proceed, clear signal, Salisbury, 75."

Amtrak's midday southbound "Piedmont" service rolls into Thomasville, NC on October 5, 2014. On this day, the train is double length due to a Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte.

While visiting family in Raleigh, I got a great Christmas gift... SNOW! Here we see Amtrak 74 departing Raligh for points west, the train was full of Holiday travelers!
