An exceptionally rare leader brings 98 north on a wet and unsettled afternoon heading toward Palatka, running on time. The dash 8 leaders only happen every few years it seems.

The Silver Meteor, reinstated this past October departs Palatka. The next stop is Deland about an hour down the line.
