A push pull tandem with NSM 650 and NSM 653 lug heavy wet coarse waste rock up from the plant heading to their Milepost 7 tailings basin to unload before returning back to the plant to reload.

The Tailings train heads through Beaver Bay past “Railfan Rock” with a NSM SD40-2 on the head end and a NSM SD40-2 on the rear.

The morning loads of taconite rock continue towards the plant while the tailings train waits for them to clear and will wye the train before returning to the plant at Silver Bay.
