SSRX SW1200 #1109 pulls a cut of cars destined for scrapping at Western Metals Recycling. #1109 retains its original number from being built for the Missouri Pacific in 1963.
Perhaps the most cheerful looking thing in Alton (sorry C of C) this TRRA alumnus is one of the switchers shuffling cars at a large metals recycler. Taken with permission, PEP etc.
