From a high up areal view inside of U.S. Steel Gary Works Plant, a former EJ&E SW1200, 317 is seen shuffling some molten steel around the plant as sunset is underway.

SSRX SW1200 #1109 pulls a cut of cars destined for scrapping at Western Metals Recycling. #1109 retains its original number from being built for the Missouri Pacific in 1963.

Perhaps the most cheerful looking thing in Alton (sorry C of C) this TRRA alumnus is one of the switchers shuffling cars at a large metals recycler. Taken with permission, PEP etc.

The old Illinois Central logo is still in great shape on the side of the cab of BUGX SW1200 #1497. The locomotive is now being used by the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway.
