One of the last scarlet and grey units on the UP roster rests in New Braunfels on the evening of February 12th.

The scenery ain’t the greatest but here is the train comin out of the shadows.

It could be a Cummins or a Gimmy under the hood actually. The engine & generator all in the old radiator compartment. Reportedly originally HBT, later Texas & Northern.
