The classic Alco short line, Detroit & Mackinac had been acquired by Lake State but the Alco tradition would carry on for many years.
D&M RS-2 469 & RS-3u 974 work the North Bay City yard. RS-2 469 was built in 1946 and is in it's 3rd paint scheme. The paint did not wear well on 469 and it will soon be repainted into a new schem... (more)
