Entering Everett on this frosty, foggy morning, the Talgo set sports 461 instead of the usual cabbage unit.

During a beautiful day on the San Diego Sub, we were treated to Pacific Surfliner 775 at CP Cardiff.

Amtrak train 500 is being pushed by the 461. The building on the left is the unused VC tower. In it's hayday, it controlled movements in and out of the depot.

If I was thinking, I would've taken the picture further back so you could see the SP Moorpark depot. This train was running almost 2 hours late.

With only a few minutes before sunset, the day's last southbound Surfliner from Santa Barbara passes the cliffs above the Pacific in Carpenteria.
