The sun is shining on a gorgeous fall morning as Amtrak train 79, the Carolinian, is led by the Phase I Heritage unit #156 through the Virginia Countryside.

The phase I Amtrak heritage pulls NB thru the Rensselaer station with the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited. The 449 is getting into position to tie onto the NY section once it arrives.
