It's a beautiful night, as the UP 7617 crosses Droubay road in Erda, Utah.

The closest thing to new power on the Union Pacific these days, are the rebuilds. C44ACM 5731 looks good with a newer coat of paint.

The LUE46 local is work a load out on the Lynndyl Sub, at Erda, Utah. I would have to say UP 4302 has caricature with is 20 plus year old original paint scheme.

LUE46 has pulled up in front of the silo in Erda, Utah. Two crew members are off the train pulling switches, unlocking gates so they can go to work switch out the cars.

No day off for the LUE46 local. I was able to catch the LUE46 out running on the morning of Labor Day. Granted they only had four cars. They are heading for the silo in Erda.

UP 7202 pulls a late evening work train along the LASL, Lynndyl Subdivision. If you look in the sky on the right, you can see an Apache helicopter giving chase.
