Built for the New York Central in 1956, Georgia Northeastern GP9 7529 leads the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway's afternoon excursion along the Toccoa River near its destination of McCaysville while storms build ahead. On arrival, the head end of the train will be in Copperhill, TN and along the Ocoee River. The former L&N Hook and Eye Line is also still active for nearly its entirety between Marietta, GA and Etowah, TN as the Georgia Northeastern Railroad, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Copperhill excursion trains.
