| Train G890 with grain for Richardson heads through the intercity shopping district in Thunder Bay on its way to CN's Port Arthur Yard. CN's mainline to Western Canada from Lake Superior cuts across Thunder Bay while CPKC's route follows the shoreline. In 2005 CN ended service (rails removed a few years following) east of Thunder Bay across the 190 mile Kinghorn Sub connecting to CN's transcontinental mainline at Longlac. |
