The Conway Scenic Railroad Mountaiier is seen passing through Glen. The Boston & Maine F7A 4268 was recently restored at the Conway shops and is powered by a prime mover that was transplanted from a former New Hampshire Northcoast GP9. The locomotive, along with sister 4266 is owned by the 470 Railroad Club. The second locomotive on this train is Maine Central 573, a veteran of Conway Scenic.
Beautiful mountain scenery has made this small state a draw for rail buffs to ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway and the Conway Scenic, among others.
Photos of North America's favorite First Generation locomotives. EMD, ALCO, Baldwin; essentially anything that represents the OG wide cab diesel locomotive
