Remarks & Notes

The Reading & Northern fall foliage train is seen crossing the 981-foot Hometown High Bridge. The bridge was built in 1931 and is 161 feet off the ground. The passenger train is on its return trip to Reading from Jim Thorpe and is being led by the railroad's 1928 Baldwin 4-6-2, which was originally built for the Gulf, Mobile & Northern Railroad.
