This morning this train coming from Porretta Terme to Bologna Centrale is entering the Sasso Marconi station.
Among these hills, 17 km from Bologna, the inventor Guglielmo Marconi made the first radio transmission experiments in 1895, so this town took his surname.
In the background you can see the "Sasso" rock which gives part of the name to the town.
