A late afternoon Bridgeport-Waterbury shuttle works its way toward Waterbury. This is the point where the New Haven Railroad's famed Maybrook Line split from their line up to Waterbury through the Naugatuck River Valley. Ironically, the Waterbury Branch sees much more traffic now than the Maybrook Line, though it's almost all M-N shuttles these days. Note the derelict signal guarding the junction, and also the derail on the Maybrook Line.
