Remarks & Notes

The beauty of Monsoon season. An extremely slow day on the Lordsburg ended with a massive severe thunderstorm developing over the Benson area. This cell continued to grow and grow until it was over the Vail area. With extremely heavy rain and some hail one of the only two trains in the last few hours flys across the top track on the Cienega Creek trestle. Even trying to hide in a tree, the rain and hail still got to me. With the combination of the sunset, dust, rain, and hail it turned out to be quite the sight as this train rolled across.
