Remarks & Notes 
New York Central E-9 #4096 is seen at the C&O Heritage Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia. Originally built as a demonstrator unit and later used by the Union Pacific Railroad, this unit was repainted as a NYC unit and was located at the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut. Eventually this unit will be repainted in a Chesapeake and Ohio colors for display at the C&O Heritage Center.
