Reunited – These two RS11’s began life as PRR 8652 and 8644, respectively. In 1964, The Pennsy leased the 8644 and seven other mates to the PRR-controlled Lehigh Valley. Two were returned, and the other six were painted for the LV. When the PRR renumbered its RS11’s from the 8600 series to the 7600 series, the Valley followed suit. After being a fixture in the Allentown area for fifteen years, the 7644 was joined by one of its former stablemates from the PRR at Bethlehem engine terminal.
