| History was made to-day when this Eurostar travelled the 306 miles (492kms) from Paris to London St.Pancras in 2hrs 3min and 39secs using the new line due to open on 14/11/07. It has just passed Km post 83 at Westwell Leacon and is accelerating to 197mph after passing Ashford at 160mph. |
