This 0-6-0 steam locomotive, number 1, was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Electro Metallurgical Co. It had a total engine and tender weight of 167,000 lbs., and a tractive force of 35,000 lbs. The BLW construction number was 61,455. It was built in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, where my great, great Uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., worked as a design engineer at Baldwin.
