Remarks & Notes |
WW1002 leads the WW102 at my scrap yard, Hub Scrap Metals of Northern Virginia. It is very unusual for the power to be all the way back in the yard.
These units are over 70 years old and still kicking. Behind them is a stationary shear that is 60 years old and still in service- it was delivered on a flatcar by the Pennsylvania Railroad. Amazing how some machinery is built to last and others go by the wayside much quicker. |
