| The westbound Lake City West turn crosses the Suwannee River as it heads towards Lee, where it will interchange with the Tallahassee East turn and return to Lake City. Ellaville was once a thriving logging town until its sawmill burned 1898 and the industry declined. The Great Depression led to its abandonment in the 1940s, and today little remains aside from the old US 90 bridge and an abandoned general store. |
