In January, the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad announced the acquisition of the Georges Creek Railway, a 12-mile line spanning from Borden Shaft, MD to Westernport, MD for freight and passenger opportunities. Included in the acquisition, were 2 former Western Maryland chop-nose GP9s. No. 25 shows some life, as the WMSR crew gives her some love on a cold winter day. 25 is operational and will return to service after a tune-up and some paint.
